Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the recognition of a person’s Learning Outcomes obtained from formal, non-formal, informal education, and/or work experience as the basis for continuing formal education.

  1. Graduates of SMA/SMK/MA/MAK and/or Graduates of D1/D2/D3/D4/S1
  2. Having formal, non-formal, informal education, and/or work experience relevant to the study program to pursue
  3. No record of academic sanctions
  4. No record of any criminal acts with a final and binding sentence of 5 (five) years or more
  5. Prospective students who take the Credit Earning RPL must have work experience in the relevant field for at least one year.

  1. Recent 3 x 4 passport photograph
  2. A scanned copy of the original identity card (KTP or Passport)
  3. A scanned copy of the original family card
  4. A scanned copy of the original birth certificate/birth verification letter
  5. A scanned copy of the last education diploma or certificate of completion
  6. A scanned copy of the academic transcript or report cards
  7. Physical health certificate
  8. Police clearance certificate
  9. Statement of commitment to comply with all applicable regulations at UII
  10. Statement of no record of academic sanctions
  11. Curriculum Vitae Form
  12. RPL Application Form according to the chosen study program
  13. Self-Evaluation Form according to the chosen study program

Prospective students who apply for recognition of the Learning Outcomes obtained from formal education in the previous study program at a university, for example, have attended a university whether completed or not, may submit the following evidence:

  1. Diploma and/or academic transcript, or
  2. Certificate of completion of the courses taken at the previous level of higher education
  3. Course Syllabus or Course Learning Outcomes

The evidence must be clearly numbered and named for ease of identification by the assessor.

Prospective students who apply for the Recognition of Learning Outcomes obtained from non-formal or informal education and/or work experience may submit the following evidence, including but not limited to:

  1. Competency certificate;
  2. Operating certificate/license;
  3. Documentation of previous work (photos/videos/products/test results, etc.);
  4. Diary/daily log of the work performed at the workplace;
  5. Task sheets/worksheets performed in the company;
  6. Analysis/design documents (partial or full) performed in the company;
  7. Logbook (Work Record Book);
  8. Training Certificate with a description of the training materials and duration;
  9. Membership of relevant professional associations;
  10. References/certificates/third-party verification reports from employers/supervisors;
  11. Industry awards; and
  12. Company performance appraisal.

The evidence must be clearly numbered and named for ease of tracking by the assessor.

*If the number of recognized credits exceed 30 credits for Diploma Three, 50 credits for Undergraduate, or 25 credits for Master’s, an additional fee will be charged and should be paid before graduation from the study program.

  2. Semester Tuition Fee (UKS); based on the fees charged for the regular program
