The eligibility for English proficiency shall be equivalent to the level required.

Orientation Program
This program introduces UII, the culture of Yogyakarta and Indonesia (do’s and don’ts), and a city tour held after arrival.
Note:
Exchange Students take regular classes as well as full-time students.

Ranging from 700,000 IDR – 2,000,000 IDR per month depending on the facilities. Accommodation information can be accessed at https://pmb.uii.ac.id/international/accommodation/ however, many rent rooms are available around the campus location. Please contact our staff for further information about the accommodation at [email protected].
  • Meals: Per meal approximately 15,000 IDR – 50,000 IDR, depending on the menu.
  • Transportation: Students can order the online transportation (car or motorbike) using Gojek or Grab applications with the rate depending on the distance
  • Others: Laundry 7,000 per kilo; internet 50,000-200,000 IDR per month
It is obligatory that students purchase health insurance by themselves.
UII will arrange the airport pick up service (time is to be confirmed).
  • Nominate, the IO of the home university fills out the nomination form at https://uii.id/ICTNominationUII 
  • Fill out and upload the required documents to the online admission 
  • Received, the application is reviewed by UII
  • Accepted, UII issues the letter of acceptance to be sent to the students
  • Revised, if there is any documents that need to be revised, the IO staff will contact the student/partner university to resubmit the required documents
  • Pay the Visa Fee, as per billing issued by the IO. The visa and limited stay fees to study in Indonesia for 1 semester is IDR 6,000,000/student
  • Apply Visa, IO UII will apply the Evisa and stay permit
  • Choose the courses by doing key-in and later sign the learning agreement
  • Register to UII, create NIU and admission data to generate UII student number
  • Book accommodation, contact our staff for further information about the accommodation options
  • Attend the Pre-Departure Briefing Program
  • Obtain the e-visa
  • Fly to Yogyakarta, Indonesia
  • Attend the UII Orientation Program 
  • Report to the local immigration in Yogyakarta for the stay permit validation
  • Undergo the program at UII
  • Completed, report to IO UII to proceed with the Exit Permit Only to the local Immigration Office in Yogyakarta

IMPROVE YOUR INDONESIAN LANGUAGE SKILLS

If you are interest to study in regular program, you must have a fluent communication skills using Bahasa Indonesia, both oral and written. UII provides Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA) program to help you learn Indonesian language before starting your first semester.
