Visa & Immigration
After you confirm to study at UII, your study permit will be processed in the Ministry of Higher Education in Jakarta, Indonesia. Then, we will apply for your limited stay visa to the Directorate General of Immigration, Indonesia to be sent to your country (or nearest country).
Please be noted that you can only process the limited stay visa in your country (or nearest country) after we send the letter of authorization issued by the immigration office of Indonesia to your email. The study permit and limited stay visa will approximately take 2 months.
Once the visa process has been completed, you can start to arrange your travel to Yogyakarta. Please inform us with the date and time of arrival for pick up arrangement.
We issue sponsor letter for new international students upon enrollment to Universitas Islam Indonesia. However, you need to request a sponsor letter whenever you have to extend Visa/KITAS or request Exit Re-entry Permit, Exit Permit Only, and other immigration formalities.

Everyday at Universitas Islam Indonesia, you will find an extensive study space to deepen your knowledge, develop your skills, and fostering new ideas. Gain a full learning experience while studying at UII. You may also choose various degree programs at UII which taught entirely in Bahasa Indonesia, or a specific degree offered at the International Program.

INDONESIAN LANGUAGE SKILLS
If you are interest to study in regular program, you must have a fluent communication skills using Bahasa Indonesia, both oral and written. UII provides Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA) program to help you learn Indonesian language before starting your first semester.
